We understand our work as an ongoing, collaborative form of research. We believe it is essential to strengthen the shared space as a site of encounter, dialogue, and exchange between different agents of society.

We propose a methodology that integrates tools from narrative practices, social psychopedagogy, and action research. We use mediation as a bridge that takes part in the design of the artistic proposal and supports its unfolding during encounters with communities.

Through this approach, we foster horizontal spaces and actively involve all participating agents. By designing sessions, assessing needs, and engaging our team affectively, we build meaningful relationships that allow artistic practice to be contextualized within community settings. Drawing on experimentation and the constant evolution of processes, we continue to expand the social role of art.

EPICA

In order to focus and assess the impact of our work, we have developed a set of objectives that we call EPICA, which frame the conceptual proposals and artistic devices that artists deploy during their residency:

Emotions

Creative experimentation to identify, name, and channel diverse emotions.

Protagonism

Recognition of individual identities within the group, and the promotion of rotating leadership.

Imagination

Visualization of alternative possible realities and the invention of creative ways to solve a problem.

Care

Identification and collective response to physical, mental, and affective needs.

Audiences

Stimulation of curiosity and appreciation of diverse realities.

Somos una organización sin fines de lucro con base en la Ciudad de México. Desde el 2017, implementamos una metodología de mediación colaborando con comunidades en situación de vulnerabilidad y artistas contemporáneos para responder a las distintas problemáticas que vivimos.
