Sanatorium Workshop - Dynamics: Oracle and Goodoo (adapted to the needs of this community)

The fabric dolls were provided for the children to decorate them with materials chosen and provided by the artist.

The doll served as a representation of a child who is in another part of the world and who surely shares ideas and feelings similar to those that make this dynamic.

In a playful environment, the plasticity, collaboration and inventiveness of each child was worked on. Ideally, each child was supposed to bring some material they collected, be it a piece of cloth, a container, a thread, disposable materials and with these materials they would create objects to decorate as well on the dolls.

Renato Ornellas

We explored the map of the world and where Mexico is located. Then each of the girls and boys drew on the map of Mexico what they liked most about their country.

Begoña Irazabal

For this occasion, Begoña taught the children about the Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky, and sang for the children. The idea was that while she sang melodies they would give them a color and paint a picture inspired by the sounds they sang.

Verónica Meloni

For this occasion, Verónica taught the children to paint using their bodies and space.
